Fely J's Kitchen- one of the best Filipino Resto i ever tasted. BF tooke me there last tuesday to celebrate our 7th anniversary.
We ordered Sinigang na Bangus Belly (option to choose- sampalok or bayabas, we opted for the latter). I love the Sinigang, it was "malapot" as i prefer and the serving was good for 3-4 persons.
We also ordered Crispy Swahe, which is also good, a bit spicy but yummy.
Also, we ordered the lechon kawali, which was siksik and also good.
And for our rice, we chose delicious rice, which was made plain rice with adobo flakes, good for 3-4 persons already.
Overall, i had a great dinner and definitely worth coming back to.. Im looking forward to trying their crispy pata.

Magic Leverage Curlformers
I really miss my curly locks..
Anyway, i finally had the chance to try my curlformers which i bought from the Port 88 Bazaar.
I watched a lot of youtube tutorials about curlformers beforehand and i learned that you can use these after taking a bath or even with damp hair and some even put it on the evening and sleep on it til the morning so it really depends on your style and technique.
So what i did for me was.. after i took a bath, i dried my hair a little and installed the curlformers one by one. the application is a bit tricky but you'll get the hang of it easily. And i let it stayed for about an hour (but i think if you want your curls to be intact and more prominent, the longer the hours the better). after which i applied hair spray to hold the curls.
It took me about 20minutes to install all the curlformers.
The size of the curlers vary- the box contains large and small curls. what i did is i just mixed them all.
Here are some pictures.
and the result...

Tony Moly BerryBerry Lipstick
This is my first purchase from the newest Korean make up brand in the Philippines- Tony Moly. When i first heard about Tony Moly, all the while i wasn't imagining that it was a make up brand but i thought it was a new korean salon. Seriously, i thought he was a person. But i did a little research and found out that the word Tony means "trendy" and Moly means "to box something". Thus, TONY MOLY means "to box something stylish"(source: http://www.facebook.com/Tonymolyphilippines).
Anyway, i was able to visit their branch in SM North Edsa. I noticed that Tony Moly has a lot of makeups in cute packaging. I think their price range is similar with Etude House and The Face Shop.
I first tried their magic berry lip tint (P198) which reminds of the EB Magic lipstick , they both gave lasting tint on your lips for a long period. the Tony Moly magic berry lip tint comes in a balm version and in 2 flavors, both emits the natural red tint of the lips.
I also checked out and tried their other variety of lipsticks and ended up purchasing their BerryBerry Lipstick in Floral Pink (PKLS03). I really like pink lipsticks than red ones. I think it better suits me and my personality. ;)
packaging
lipstick has a ribbon at the cover
berryberry (floral pink)
Prior Application:
(*excuse the dry lips*)
After application
with and without flash
What I Love about the lipstick:
-The Shade! i love the subtlety of the color. You can use it for work or date or even for a night out.
-Dual purpose: It gives moisture to the lips. As you apply it, you can feel that it moisturizes your lips.
-Berry scent/flavor.. hence the name berryberry.

-It's affordable. Only for P337.
It's my perfect pink on the go lipstick.
Tony Moly can found at some selected SM Malls

Food Review: Chicken Charlie
Location: Banawe, Quezon City.
I usually pass by Banawe area on my way home after school and I've always been curious about this restaurant and now i finally had the chance to grab a bite there.
Dubbed as Manila's version of BonChon NY, famous for their double-frying technique. My friends and i shared and ordered the 3 Drumsticks and 6Wings Combo in Soy Garlic Sauce for P288 (Choice of Soy Garlic Sauce or Hot Sweet Sauce) and Potato Wedges for P45.
What i like about Chicken Charlie:
- CRISPYY fried chicken skin. Flavorful and tasty..you'd crave for more. Downside though, the chicken meat was bland. There was no flavor as much as the chicken skin.
- Their chicken is not as oily as bonchon and not messy to devour.
- I like their interiors- simple yet well-lit. Although they could use more space to accommodate their avid customers.
- i did like their Potato Wedges. They were served in big and thick cuts.

I think that Chicken Charlie is something new to the palette, they've introduced another version of fried chicken and it's definitely something to try!
They now have actually 3 branches - San Juan, Banawe and Malate. :)

Food Review: Kiddo Manga Burger Cafe
Verdict: 4 spoons
Located at RP Manila
After one game of bowling with the boyfriend, we still had an hour time to kill before the movie starts, so we decided to have dinner first. Of course, the food lover in us wanted to try something new instead of the usual. After buying movie tickets, we immediately saw this burger joint beside Karate Kid named Kiddo Manga Burger Cafe. I think it is affiliated with the Karate Kid franchise.
*Excused the poor quality photos, i was only using my phone camera*
BF ordered the Kiddo Manga Master Burger Meal for P145. It comes with twister fries and iced tea. The twister fries reminds me of Mcdonalds, no difference for me. I love the taste of their burger patty. The taste is new and doesn't taste like your ordinary burger. It's very tasty and juicy. It's something that i'll comeback for again. I do wanna try their grilled chicken burger..looks promising!
On the other hand, I ordered Garlic Shrimp Ebiko Pasta for P99 only. Add P20 and you'll get an iced tea with it. I like their pasta too. It's creamy and cheesy (just the way i like it). Boyfriend liked it too and to think he usually prefers tomato based than white sauce pasta.
We also tried their Takoyaki Balls, which i didn't like at all. For me, nothing will beat SAMURAI's Takoyaki Balls. It's my all time and only fave takoyaki balls. So far, it trumps all.
Aside from the burgers and pastas, they also do have croquettes pocket pies, milk teas, iced coffee blended drinks, crepes and rice meals.

Food Review: The Frazzled Cook
VERDICT: 4 SPOONS for The Frazzled Cook.
I recently discovered this restaurant within the streets of San Juan, Manila named The Frazzled Cook thru Deal Dozen. I love eating out and the thrill of trying out new restaurants in the city or even outside is just fun. So when i saw the deal in deal dozen, i immediately clicked the "BUY" button without hesitation.
So what did the deal contained?
For a price of P1,775, you'll get these amazing food- The Frazzled Cook Bestsellers:
7 Dishes with Drinks for Sharing!
Pizza Caprese,
Sizzling Squid,
Seafood Paella,
Beef Shortribs,
Wagyu Salpicao,
Pitcher of Home-made Iced Tea,
Pancake ala mode and
Strawberry Shortcake for ONLY P1,775
My boyfriend and I finished most of the food (i did stressed out beforehand that i looove to eat, soo don't judge! ;P ) although the food is good for sharing, prolly 3-4 is enough.
So if i had to rate (from Fave- Least Fave) the food we ate, it would be:
1. Wagyu Salpicao-- Heavenly! It's so tender and soft to eat and yummy! Perfect with the garlic rice pairing.
2. Seafood Paella-- Really good. So many toppings. we weren't able to finish the whole thing since its a Rice Meal, which is heavy to eat.
3. Sizzling squid-- Yummy! Sweet but not too much and soft to chew.
4.Beef Shortribs-- Good. Soft to chew. Serves 4. Paired with mash potato--which is also good. no need for gravy.
5. Pizza Caprese-- Its Ok. reminds me of a pizza pie.
Home-made Iced Tea- sort of peachy flavor. i Like!
Desserts:
1. Pancake ala mode- Pancake with syrup and ice cream on top.- basically its your ordinary pancake with icecream.
2. Strawberry Shortcake- not much of a fan but its OK. Its really not sweet, its lacking the amount of sweetness that my palette was looking for. Looks good more than taste good though.
In terms of the place itself, I love the ambiance of the restaurant, suited for Date Nights or even Get togethers. It manifests a very Laid back yet eclectic vibe because of the collage of furnitures that doesn't actually matched but they look good together. I just don't know where it got its name- The Frazzled Cook. I believe that the word "frazzled" connotes a negative term. It means worn-out/fatigue and the restaurant doesn't exude such description.
